  • Shot down in combat  Feb 19, 1991 by Infra Red SAM (SA-9) 62 nm North West of Kuwait city.
  • Pilot Lt Col Jeffery Fox call sign "NAIL53", ejected and survived, but was injuring as he ejected. He was captured as POW and released Mar 5, 1991.

  • Crashed on Landing Feb 27, 1991, badly damaged from AAA small arms hits.
  • Pilot Pilot Lt Patrick Olson was killed while attempting to land at King Khalid KKMC in Manual Reversion due to losing all hydraulics, and in extreme weather conditions.

  • Shot down in combat Feb 5, 1991, by AAA ground fire 60 miles north west of Kuwait city while attacking Republican Guard targets.
  • Pilot Lt James Sweet ejected and survived. He was captured as POW and released Mar 5, 1991.

  • Shot down in combat 15 Feb 1991, by AAA ground fire and possibly SA-13 'Gopher' SAM approx 60 miles North West of Kuwait city while attacking Republican Guard.
  • Pilot Pilot Capt Steven Phyllis was killed while protecting his downed wingman, 1st Lt. Robert James Sweet.

England AFB

  • Crashed on landing Feb 22, 1991 by SA-13 SAM.
  • Pilot Capt Rich Biley survived unhurt during a successful wheels-up, hard stick landing in Manual Reversion at KKMC. CLSS team stripped aircraft of parts and buried 181 in the desert.
